The Jersey Riding Club (JRC) is a grassroots equestrian club in Jersey offering dressage, show jumping, derby trials, fun days, escorted rides and instructionals to riders over the age of 17.

Welcome to the Jersey Riding Club (JRC)!
We've been around since 1965, and we're all about bringing riders of all levels together. If you're 17 years or older, you're eligible to join us for a whole year of horsey fun.
At the JRC, we're all about training and events for both horses and riders. We've got a jam-packed calendar with loads of exciting stuff. From show jumping to derby trials, dressage to showing, we've got it all covered.
And it's not just about the serious stuff - we also organize escorted rides, fun days, and social events. We like to mix things up and have a good time.
Our members are the heart and soul of the JRC. Without their support, we wouldn't be able to offer over 55 events every year.
So, if you're as passionate about horses as we are and want to be part of a fantastic community, come and join us at the JRC. We can't wait to see you at one of our events.
What we do
Dressage
We offer dressage instructionals and dressage events throughout the year.
The highlight of our equestrian calendar is the Annual Show - Dressage weekend in spring each year.
Show Jumping
&
Derby Trials
Most of the year is show jumping and derby trial season for us.
Events take place in our field in St. Lawrence and at venues all over the island.
Fun Days
Twice a year we host Fun Days for our grassroots members. We offer pole classes, pairs, handy horse classes and sometimes classes for your canine companion as well.

Become a Member

Membership Payments
Please pay by bank transfer to the following account: NatWest International, account name: Jersey Riding Club, sort code: 60-12-03, account number: 27454177. Please type "MMSP" followed by your surname and initial in the reference field (e.g.: MMSP SMITH K) and send a scan/screenshot/photo of your payment confirmation to jrc.memberships@gmail.com. Only membership forms accompanied by a payment confirmation will be accepted.
Terms & Conditions
Minimum Age – I hereby confirm that I am or will turn 17 years of age during this membership year. If I am below 18, my parents/guardians have declared their consent to me becoming a member of the Jersey Riding Club.
Photographic Rights – Members and/or their parents and guardians (for under 18’s) hereby give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Jersey Riding Club activities to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Jersey Riding Club and/or official sponsors of the Jersey Riding Club. I understand that the Jersey Riding Club will select photographs for publication with care and respect for those shown.
Data Protection – I understand and consent to the Jersey Riding Club collecting and storing in electronic format the personal data I have provided in this form or throughout the course of my membership. This personal data is used for communication and running events. Personal data won't be provided to any third parties for any purpose other than disclosed in this form or where legally required. Personal data will be held for the duration of my membership and deleted within three years of me ceasing to be a member.
British Riding Clubs Affiliation - The Jersey Riding Club is affiliated to “The British Riding Clubs” which in turn is affiliated to ‘The British Horse Society’. All of our members are registered with ‘The British Riding Clubs’, one of the benefits of which is the delivery of the ‘Rider’ magazine. Please contact the Membership Secretary if you need to know your membership number. Your membership card will be provided directly by the BRC.
Insurance – I understand that I will only be allowed to compete if I can provide adequate public liability insurance coverage for my horse, a copy of which I have attached to this form.
Correspondence – I understand that I will be receiving all correspondence from the Jersey Riding Club via email and that I will not receive any correspondence by post should I have failed to provide an email address. If I don’t have an email address, I will contact the Membership or Club Secretary to make alternative arrangements. I hereby agree that this data will be stored and processed for the purpose of establishing contact. I am aware that I can revoke my consent at any time.
