MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The Membership Year now runs from the 1st January to the 31st December. To be a member you must be 17 years of age and above within the membership year. New young members may join in the January of the year in which they are to be 17. Membership from Jan 2010 is £32.00 for the year.
These changes are to make it much easier for new members regarding their eligibility to join the club. All current memberships will now expire on 31st December 2009.
If you would like to join or need to renew your membership, please complete the Membership form and send it along with your JRC Help Form to our Membership Secretary, Sophie Le Marquand. Sophie's address can be found on the form.
All memberships must be submitted BY POST to the Membership Secretary only to ensure that an up to date list of members is maintained at all times. Please do not send cash through the post.
The Membership Secretary ensures that each event organiser has an updated list of members. Any competitor wishing to enter an event and who is not on the prevailing membership list may only participate by taking out a day membership for £10. Day memberships are not eligible for either the One Day Event or the Annual Show.

RULE REMINDER
In the event of a fall in any class/discipline, competitors are required to leave the arena dismounted. If appropriate, the competitor may re-attempt their round at the end of the class on a non-competitive basis.
HELP
All members are required to help at events throughout the year - so please ensure that when you are asked by an event organizer to help that you try to accommodate their request.
We do hold a Helpers Point system amd members who have not helped at all will have their entries refused. It you prefer you can pre-book your help duties for future events by contacting Carly Pallot enabling you to schedule your help either around your entries or for an event that you don't normally compete in.
All members are requested to complete the JRC Help Form when they renew their Annual Membership.
JRC RULES AND ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES
The JRC Rules are used in conjunction with the British Horse Society (BHS) Rules. They are there for the safety of both horse and rider and to ensure fair competition at all events.
The JRC Etiquette Guidelines (located at the end of the document) are designed to ensure that all members and their horses are turned out correctly and in the correct safety approved riding gear at all of our events.
INSURANCE
All members can enjoy the benefit of 3rd party insurance cover which comes as standard when you join a BHS affiliated club. This insurance covers you whilst you are attending all JRC events.
