X-COUNTRY AND X-JUMP

October is the beginning of the Cross Country season and to start it off we hold Cross-Jump Competitions. Cross-Jump is a combination of Show Jumping and Cross Country fences all in one course and is run on either a fastest time or optimum time basis. Classes are held for all grades with heights varying from 0.70m for the Novice Riders to 1m+ for the Intermediate/Advanced grades.

Cross Country instructionals and competitions begin in November and are held at various venues on the Island. Classes are held for all grades and we also include a Pairs section.

Our annual One Day Event is held in January at our Six Roads Fields and combines all three disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. Again, classes are held for all grades.

All riders must wear regulation hats with flexible peaks, body protectors and medi card armbands at all Cross Country and Cross-Jump events. Number bibs are not required for instructionals but must be worn during competitions.
