GRADING POINTS

All horses and ponies will be classified in each discipline using the Grading Points system. A separate points system is kept for Novice Riders in each section - Dressage, Show Jumping, X-Country and X-Jump.

ANNUAL TROPHIES

Competitors can gain Annual Trophy Points throughout the year. These trophies are presented each year to the winners at our Eventer's Ball. The Annual Trophies are as follows:

The JEP Trophy

Presented by the JEP, it is awarded to the Horse & Rider combination with the most points overall (1 point gained for each 3 competitors in the class, for example, if 6 in a class, 1st would get 2 points and 2nd would get 1 point).

The Clover Chief Perpetual Trophy

Presented by Mrs A. Corson, it is awarded to the Horse & Rider combination that is the best overall in all disciplines having competed at least once in Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross Country and/or Cross-Jump. By competing in all 3 sections of the One Day Event you are also eligible for this trophy (1 point gained for each 3 competitors in the class, for example, if 6 in a class, 1st would get 2 points and 2nd would get 1 point).
